We are a well-established Greek yachting company with over 25 years of experience in our industry, offering services of yacht rental in Athens, Lefkas island, Skiathos island and Kos island and, as well as crane & shipyard services.

Vaggelis Kavas

Kavas Yachting was founded in 1985 by Vangelis Kavas, a former Greek Naval officer, whose passion for yachting and the sea led him to venture into yacht charterting. It was a very humble beginning, with a tiny 30′ yacht.

Today, Kavas Yachting’s company-owned fleet comprises more than 45 sailing yachts of all types and sizes, ranging anywhere from 61′ to 30’.

The company maintains four yachts bases:

ATHENS (Alimos marina), which practically cover the Saronic Gulf and the Cyclades islands Greece.
Lefkada Greece base, which cover the Ionian Sea regions.
SKIATHOS island base, which cover the Sporades islands.
Kos island base, which cover the Dodecanese , Rhodes Greece & South-Eastern Aegean

Kavas Yachting Services

Kavas Yachting is the only yacht company in Greece to be able to offer a universal yachts service:

Yacht Rentals in Mediterranean, through it’s own large fleet (bareboat, skippered or cabin charter),
Yachts management for third parties,
Crane service and
Shipyard services.
Used Yachts for sale service.
The boats are of high quality, since they are very well maintained.

Kavas Yachting Infrastructure

Alimos marina is the largest marina in Greece; every year, Kavas Yachting undertakes more than 50% of the crane and shipyard services bought by its yacht professionals.

Overall, the Kavas Yachting established infrastructure of cranes and travel lifts, facilitates consistent improvement in crane & shipyard activities.

Hence, it is only natural that we do our own maintenance work to our boats, which is why they are always at their best!
